Seasonal Sales Associate

Rustic Marlin Faneuil Hall - Event & Temp Employees Rustic Marlin, an industry leader and nationally recognized brand, manufactures premium home décor that's made to last for large retailers, boutiques and direct consumers throughout the USA under the Rustic Marlin and private label brands. We are looking for temp employees to work at our retail store & events located in the Faneuil Hall and Boston area. We are looking for workers to work full time or part time at entry level to manager level experience.

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who love retail and want to work for a growing consumer brand. We are seeking part-time and full-time associates who love to sell and help customers!

Note:

This role will require some weekend work. Provide outstanding customer service. Drive sales through engagement with customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greet and receive customers in a welcoming and professional manner. Assist with product merchandising and re-stocking efforts. Assist customers in selecting products and making custom orders. Manage sale transactions by processing payments and creating or updating customer profile records using our point of sale system. Alert management of potential security issues or negative customer interactions. Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise. Provide insights to management regarding top-sellers, customer requests, etc. Represent the brand in a professional manner at all times. Identify and implement more effective ways to improve product offering or processes. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICIATIONS

Energetic and friendly people person Reliable, detail oriented and highly motivated. Excellent customer service Quick learner of products and processes Strong verbal communication skills Previous retail experience or customer service experience is a plus Knowledge of retail management software and POS a plus Reliable, detail oriented and highly motivated. Willingness to assist beyond job description boundaries as often the case in small businesses. Passionate about the product and role within the company. Knowledgeable and experienced enough to step right into a fast paced work environment. Demonstrates a proven track record of working within a team environment and independently.
