Role:

Good Nature is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Budtenders to join our growing retail team in Cambridge at 2 different locations. In this role, you will be the face of our dispensary, acting as a trusted guide for both experienced consumers and newcomers to cannabis. The ideal candidate combines exceptional customer service skills with a deep understanding of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and state compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Consultation Patient & Customer Guidance:

Greet customers warmly, actively listen to their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations based on desired effects, tolerance, and preferences.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of our flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and tinctures, as well as cannabinoids (THC/CBD) and terpenes.

Education:

Clearly explain safe consumption practices, dosing guidelines, and the differences between ingestion methods to ensure a positive and safe consumer experience. Sales & Point of Sale (POS)

Operations Transaction Management:

Accurately process transactions using our point-of-sale system ( Dutchie ), handling cash and debit payments efficiently while minimizing discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

Correctly pull, verify, and package products for in-store customers and online pre-orders.

Compliance & Inventory Integrity Strict ID Verification:

Ensure 100% compliance with CCC and state regulations by meticulously verifying valid, government-issued IDs for age and consumer type before any transaction.

Inventory Control:

Assist with daily inventory counts, restocking display cases, and ensuring all retail products are correctly tagged and compliant with tracking standards.

Dispensary Environment & Teamwork Store Upkeep:

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, waiting area, and product display.

Collaborative Spirit:

Work seamlessly alongside security, inventory specialists, and management to maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements Age Restriction:

Must be 21 years of age or older (state law).

Licensing:

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to obtain a state-required Cannabis Agent ID.

Customer Service Experience:

1+ years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred; cannabis retail experience is a major plus.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand and move about the sales floor for extended periods (8+ hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.

Tech Savvy:

Familiarity with cannabis POS platforms (e.g., Dutchie) and compliance-minded workflows is highly desirable.

Schedule Flexibility:

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
