Golf Shop Assistant

Overview Falmouth Country Club is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Golf Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves the game of golf and enjoys a variety of tasks—from providing top-tier customer service in the golf shop to inspiring the next generation of golfers. This position offers a unique hybrid structure: you will manage the daily operations of the shop and snack bar, with additional performance-based compensation for assisting our Golf Professionals during Junior Golf Clinics. Essential Responsibilities Merchandising & Presentation:

Maintain a premium shopping environment by folding, hanging, and organizing apparel according to club standards. Ensure all displays are aesthetically pleasing and restocked promptly.

Shop Upkeep:

Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure the golf shop and snack bar areas remain orderly, vacuumed, and welcoming for members and guests.

Customer Service:

Provide a warm welcome to all golfers, managing the check-in process, tee time starting, and processing retail/concession transactions accurately.

Inventory Management:

Assist with receiving new merchandise, tagging items, and conducting periodic inventory counts to ensure data accuracy.

Operational Support:

Coordinate with the outside operations team to ensure a seamless transition for players from the shop to the first tee.
