$17•20 per hour (based on experience) About the Role Join Koopman Lumber's Paint Department as a Retail Sales Associate. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll help customers, mix paint, and keep the department running smoothly. What You'll Do Assist customers with product selection and paint mixing Process transactions (cash, charge accounts, gift cards) Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department Receive and put away inventory Recommend products to support customer projects Support both DIY customers and professional painters

Requirements:

What You Bring Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Attention to detail (especially with paint mixing and transactions) Basic math and ability to follow instructions Team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting Why Koopman Lumber Family-owned since 1939 with a strong team culture and opportunities to grow.
