Duties Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and answering questions about products and store layout Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to keep displays attractive and organized Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately Provide excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries from customers or vendors Support upselling efforts by recommending complementary products to increase sales opportunities Supervise junior team members during shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and store policies Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math essentials Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your fit for this role Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail transactions Join us in creating a lively shopping atmosphere where customers feel valued and eager to return!
