Sales Associate Furniture Store

Job Summary Better Home Furniture & Mattress is looking for a motivated and customer focused Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist customers in finding the perfect furniture and mattress solutions for their homes while delivering an exceptional in store experience. As a Sales Associate, you will guide customers through the buying process, explain product features and benefits, and help customers create comfortable and beautiful living spaces. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping customers. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide a friendly and professional shopping experience Assist customers in selecting furniture and mattresses that fit their needs, style, and budget Demonstrate product features, materials, comfort, and design options Guide customers through the sales process from product selection to purchase Process transactions accurately using the point of sale system Maintain showroom organization, product displays, and overall store presentation Follow up with potential customers and support team sales goals Recommend complementary items to enhance the customer's purchase Qualifications Previous retail or sales experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Fluent English required Portuguese or Spanish language skills are a plus Customer focused mindset with the ability to build trust with clients Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems Motivated, reliable, and team oriented Compensation This position offers a competitive compensation structure including: Hourly base pay Sales commission based on performance Additional bonuses based on sales goals and achievements This structure provides strong earning potential for motivated sales professionals.
