We're a small, close-knit team — which means every person matters and great work is noticed. The Role We're looking for a people-person with retail experience who takes pride in creating a genuinely great customer experience. At Adorn, sales aren't about pressure — they're about helping customers discover pieces they'll love and sharing the stories behind the artists who made them. Over time, team members build real product knowledge and develop an eye for jewelry so they can genuinely guide customers rather than just assist them. Compensation & Perks $20-$23/hour depending on experience Quarterly team bonus for year round employees based on hours worked Employee discount on most items (some exclusions apply) Paid lunch break Consistent schedule with a positive, collaborative team Responsibilities Customer Experience Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere Learn the stories behind our artists, designers, and products — and share them naturally with customers Assist with jewelry try-ons and help guide customers toward pieces they'll love Help gift shoppers with thoughtful questions and suggestions Sales & Checkout Process transactions accurately using our POS system Provide gift wrapping and keep the checkout area fully stocked and organized Stay aware of what's selling and communicate inventory needs to the buying team Store Presentation & Operations Maintain beautiful, well-stocked displays throughout the day Dust, straighten, vacuum, water plants, and keep the shop clean and looking its best Assist with unpacking deliveries, tagging merchandise, and getting new products on the floor Keep the stockroom organized and alert the team when supplies need reordering What We're Looking For Prior retail experience required Genuinely enjoys talking with people and providing excellent customer service Interest in art, jewelry, or design is a strong plus Eager to learn our artists and products in depth — this knowledge is central to the role Organized, dependable, and proactive during slower periods Reliable — as a small team, showing up for scheduled shifts is essential Schedule & Availability Shifts typically run 9:30 AM-5:15 PM. Saturday availability is required. This is a year-round position with a consistent, predictable schedule. Some flexibility is appreciated during peak summer weeks and occasional evening events.
