Retail Sales Associate

Pawsitivity is a rapidly expanding lifestyle pet brand! We are going into our eighth season on Nantucket and are very excited to be expanding to Provincetown! Our assortment features hand-printed designs and superior craftsmanship. We work with a carefully curated group of partners throughout the USA to engineer a new standard in the premium gifting and dog segment. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining product displays, processing transactions, and promoting sales in our retail environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts. Promote sales by effectively communicating product features and benefits to customers. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
