In this energetic role, you'll serve as the friendly face of our dispensary, guiding customers through their cannabis journey with expert knowledge and personalized recommendations. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring each visitor leaves satisfied and informed. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the retail cannabis industry while making a positive impact on our community. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items and assist customers in making informed choices Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to enhance their experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product visibility Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep the sales floor well-stocked and organized Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment, is highly desirable Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination abilities Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions or product demos Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where customers feel valued and confident in their choices.
