Our store focuses on selling popular Japanese and Korean brands in the following product categories: cosmetics, beauty, toys/plushies, and snacks/beverages. Knowledge in trending Japanese and Korean pop culture is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and operate a POS system effectively. The candidate will also assist in upselling products and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries. Upsell products by promoting special offers and new items to customers. Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory as needed. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and boost sales. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required. Knowledge of J-Beauty and K-Beauty products Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers positively. Experience with POS systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
