Sales Associate / Showroom Clerk Lucky Sevens Flooring & Carpet 1752 Riverdale Street, West Springfield, MA Are you friendly, outgoing, and passionate about helping people? Lucky Sevens Flooring & Carpet is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate / Showroom Clerk to join our growing team! As the first person many customers meet when they walk through our doors, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. You'll help homeowners, landlords, contractors, and business owners find the perfect flooring solutions for their projects while supporting daily showroom operations. Whether customers are shopping for carpet, luxury vinyl plank, hardwood, laminate, tile, or custom area rugs, you'll guide them through the selection process with confidence and professionalism. What You'll Do Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome Assist customers in selecting flooring products that fit their style, needs, and budget Learn product features, benefits, warranties, and installation options Answer customer questions in person, over the phone, and through email Create estimates, sales orders, and invoices Schedule measurements, installations, and customer appointments Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing Follow up with customers regarding quotes and orders Assist with inventory tracking and product displays Support social media, promotions, and showroom events when needed Work closely with installers, management, and vendors to ensure excellent customer service Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable learning new products and technology Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented High school diploma or equivalent preferred Flooring Experience Is A Plus While flooring experience is not required, the following skills and experience are highly valued: Previous flooring, carpet, tile, hardwood, or home improvement sales experience Interior design or decorating experience Experience reading floor plans or measurements Knowledge of flooring installation methods and materials Experience working with contractors, builders, or property managers Retail sales experience in home furnishings, furniture, appliances, kitchens, or remodeling Construction, remodeling, or home improvement background Experience creating estimates or quotes Customer relationship management (CRM) software experience Social media or marketing experience What Makes Someone Successful Here?
