Retail Sales Associate - Woburn, MA

From providing product knowledge and technical support to keeping the store running smoothly, you'll play an essential role in creating positive customer experiences while supporting daily operations.
Schedule:
We have a great flexible schedule within the hours of Monday-Friday from 8AM-6PM, Saturdays 9AM-6PM, and Sundays from 10am-5pm. Full-time and part time positions available.

General Function
Provide customers total solutions to their battery, bulb, and services problems while doing so in a courteous, professional and helpful manner.
Essential Responsibilities
Customer Service / Sales
Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions
Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals
Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers
Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy
Answer phones, ensuring messages are relayed
Watch for loss prevention issues and advise management of any unusual activities
Demonstrate a customer-first mentality
Technical
Install batteries, perform tests and tech work
Able to rebuild cordless drill batteries and other battery packs as needed
Repair cell phones, tablets, light fixtures and other devices as needed
Replace screens, batteries and other components on smartphones and tablets
Cut keys and reprogram key fob remotes
Merchandising / Inventory
Assist in all store operations responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager
Rotate and stock inventory
Load, unload, and deliver or arrange delivery of product to customers or via third party delivery companies
Organize daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance
Maintain retail shelf label pricing
Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures
Prepare store for daily opening and closing including counting and reconciling register drawers
Maintain physical facility safety and appearance including mowing lawn, removing snow, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain restroom cleanliness
Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications
H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred
Must have technical aptitude and have the ability to work small parts and tools
Ability to make minor decisions and use some judgment within standardized procedures
Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus; general knowledge of customer service policies/procedures
Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk and use hands to handle or touch; frequently talk, hear and lift up to 50 pounds; and occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulders, and lift more than 50 pounds.
The position requires the employee to regularly use electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, automotive and electronic testing equipment, as well as regular use of a phone, fax, computer, and printer/copier.
While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee will occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions and the risk of electrical shock.
