Associate - Westfield Montgomery (Part Time)
Location:
Westfield Montgomery (Bethesda, MD) The Kako Claw Difference At Kako Claw (pronounced Kah-koh , rhymes with taco), we've reimagined the claw machine experience. We aren't a dimly lit, outdated arcade—we're a premium, interactive retail concept built around fun, fairness, and human connection.
The Role:
The Heart of the Experience As an Associate at Kako Claw, you are the face of the brand and the "host" of the party. You aren't just watching machines, you are creating the energy in the room, celebrating wins, and ensuring every guest feels welcome. We believe in investing in our team. You'll be supported through ongoing coaching and feedback, helping you sharpen your customer service skills and professional creativity in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
What You'll Do:
Be the
Host:
Proactively greet guests and bring positive energy to the floor. You'll celebrate big wins, explain how the games work, and help customers "trade up" their prizes. Curate the
Vibe:
Keep the store looking pristine. This includes cleaning glass, organizing prize counters, and ensuring machines are fully stocked and visually appealing.
Grow and Create:
Assist with in-store events and contribute to our social media content. We want your ideas on how to make this location uniquely memorable! Support the
Tech:
Assist customers at payment kiosks and troubleshoot minor machine issues (don't worry, we'll train you!). Live the

The Essentials:
Physicality:
Ability to move about the store for extended shifts (4-9+ hours), lift/stock up to 40 lbs, and troubleshoot machines.
Availability:
We are looking for candidates with open, flexible availability. We know predictability matters, so once you are trained and acclimated to the team, we are dedicated to providing you with a steady, consistent schedule.
Age Requirement:
18+ years of age.
Employment Status:
Non-exempt, hourly position eligible for overtime. How to Join the

If the store is temporarily quiet and all the machines are full, how do you spend your time? Are you able to stand and move about the store for shifts lasting 4-9+ hours and lift/stock items weighing up to 40 lbs? Can you commit to a consistent schedule, and are there any specific days or times you are not available to work? How many hours are you hoping to work per week (provide minimum, ideal, and maximum)? Are you at least 18-years-old?
