Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and making personalized recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and appealing through merchandising and stocking tasks Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store hours with excellent phone etiquette Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory counts Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for supporting team efforts Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and standing for extended periods Enthusiasm for engaging customers through product demos and upselling techniques Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a lively retail environment.
