Flooring Sales Associate Salary/Commission (Full‑Time)

Job Overview Flooring Max is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Flooring Sales Associate to join our team in Leonardtown, MD. This full-time position offers a base salary plus commission and is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, customer interaction, and home improvement projects. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting flooring products that meet their needs and budget Educate customers on flooring options including (but not limited to) hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, tile, and carpet Schedule measurements Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and sales orders Follow leads from start to finish to maintain strong customer relationships Coordinate with installers, vendors, and internal staff Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals Maintain a clean, professional, and organized showroom and workspace Follow up with customers after install to ensure Qualifications Sales experience preferred (flooring or home improvement experience a plus) Strong organization, communication and customer service skills Consultative selling approach Basic math skills and computer proficiency Basic knowledge of using measuring tools Ability to work full-time with some weekend availability
