Job Description
Are you a vigilant pro who knows how to balance top-tier safety with five-star hospitality? We're looking for a Security Agent who is more than just a "guard"—we need a presence. Someone who can keep our space secure while being an integral part of the most welcoming cannabis community in town. At Positive Energy, we've traded the sterile, "tough-guy" security vibe for a culture of safety, respect, and positive energy. The ideal candidate has prior experience in security, law enforcement etc.

Full Time Benefits:
Paid vacation after 1 year; 2 sick days; paid holidays; 401k Maryland Saves Program, and dental offered.Responsibilities:
- Must arrive the same time that agents arrive to prepare the dispensary for opening; security is responsible for surveilling all opening procedures and for lifting the shutters on the front windows and door to signify that the dispensary is open.
- Will close shutters on front windows and doors to signify that the dispensary is closed; will escort employees out of the dispensary at the end of the day and ensure the premises is locked down.
- Monitor all Security Video Feeds; responsible for ensuring all cameras and alarm systems are working efficiently and must report to Security Director and/or GM if not
- Monitor all individuals that enter the dispensary doors; restrict access to the sales areaand exit vestibuleto only registered patients/caregivers,and commission representatives; restrict access to the Operations Zone and Officesto only Positive Energy Employees and Commission Representatives, unless stated otherwise.
- Maintain Visitor's Log to ensure visiting personnel having provided a copy of their government issued ID as well as have signed in and out
- Interface with law enforcement as necessary
- Will maintain order in the waiting room if a large amount of patients/caregivers are waiting to be checked in and/or are waiting to enter the sales room; assist reception agent in any way possible; maintain order of individuals in line
- Document any suspicious activity and report back to Management
- Escort individuals off of the dispensary's premises that are a threat to the safety of others and/or threaten the integrity of Positive Energy's operations.
- Help research issues that may arise by conducting a brief investigation (including reviewing security footage, interviewing agents, etc) to gather the available facts and communicate to management or whoever is necessary to help solve the problem at hand
