Job Description
Overview The position requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am - 5 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm; weekend shifts are required. Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional customer experiences! In this role, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, provides product insights, and ensures smooth transactions both at our front register and gun range. Your proactive approach will help customers find what they need, learn about products, and leave with a smile. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail and computer skills while contributing to a vibrant shopping environment. Whether assisting with product displays or managing the register, your positive attitude and strong communication skills will make a real difference every day. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support for gun range activity by managing the customer schedule and facilitating gun rentals Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively connect with diverse customers, including bilingual support if applicable Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for creating positive interactions Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
