Liquor Store Sales Associate

We are a family owned liquor store that's been serving Southern Md since 1963. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Job Duties:

Primary challenge in this position is to provide prompt, courteous customer service, accurate money handling, keeping adequate inventory levels, stock and clean shelves. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. Must be willing to work nights & weekends and holidays. Essential Position Functions Assist Customers Greet customers Assist customers with products; Suggest Products & Upsell Bring customers to location of items, when needed Maintain correct placement of Liquor stock Provides courteous customer service General cleaning of shelves and other store areas Knows all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales and also laws pertaining to Hours of operation. Able to handle drive thru, special orders, such as kegs, basic record keeping for on site rentals. Must be a self starter & motivated. Capable and willing to complete shifts tasks without being asked. Preforms aisle stocking as needed Completes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner

Physical- Lifting up to 30 lbs., Equipment operation (scanner, Register, Bending, reaching, standing, and turning: Mental- judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions, memorizing, reading, writing, math/counting currency.

Equipment Operation:
