Job Description
Overview We are looking for a new member to add to our Royal Leaf team! We are committed to providing Aroostook County with top-tier customer service and quality cannabis products at an affordable price. We are looking for an out-going and self-motivated individual to fill the role of budtender, to provide customers with the knowledge necessary for them to find the products they want. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience Assist customers with product selection Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and participate in product inventory management Educate customers on product effects, responsible use guidelines, and answer questions with clear communication skills Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries and ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding adult-use cannabis sales Maintaining a clean shopping environment for customers Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs but not required Experience with merchandising and stocking enhances your fit for this role Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about the industry's regulations and safety protocols Niche or technical skills are preferred and may lead to faster advancement in the company.
