Description The OpportunityThe Store Sales Associate is a key member of the US Commercial team and plays an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. This position supports retail and contractor customers by providing product recommendations, color matching, order support, and outstanding service.
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Store Sales Associate helps drive sales success while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused store environment.
The starting pay rate for this role is $18/hour.

Closed Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutionsAssist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processingMix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specificationsBuild knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processesProcess customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channelsSupport sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goalsLoad, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicleResolve customer concerns and escalate issues when neededSafely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillmentMaintain a clean, safe, and organized store environmentSupport daily store operations and team priorities as needed QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageValid driver's license required, must pass all background items and physicalCustomer service experience preferred with a team-focused approachStrong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional mannerAbility to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer supportAbility to work scheduled hours as needed, including flexibility based on business needsAbility to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely, including standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouchingAbility to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment Success FactorsThe ideal candidate demonstrates:
