$18/Hr. About the Role Diamondback Music Hall is looking for reliable, high-energy individuals to join our Security Team. As the face of our venue's safety, you'll ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience in a secure environment. Important Scheduling Note Please note that this is an event-based position . Hours and shifts are determined strictly by our concert and event calendar.

No guaranteed weekly hours:

Shifts are determined strictly by our concert and event calendar. We cannot guarantee set weekly hours. This is a "gig-style" position where your schedule fluctuates based on venue bookings.

Strict Punctuality:

In the live music industry, timing is everything. You must be on time for every shift. Security briefings happen before doors open to the public; arriving late compromises the safety of the entire team and our guests. We require 100% reliability for scheduled call times.

Shift Availability:

Most shifts occur on weekends (Friday/Saturday) and evenings. There are other weekdays that will be available as well depending on the venues booking calendar.

Flexibility:

While we provide schedules as far in advance as possible based on bookings, your hours will fluctuate depending on the venue's event volume.

Key Responsibilities Crowd Management:

Monitor the floor, mosh pits, and barricades to ensure guest safety.

Access Control:

Verify IDs are of age based on each events age-requirement, check tickets, deck, restrooms, dance floor, VIP Suites, and manage VIP/backstage entry points.

Entry Screening:

Conduct bag checks, pat-downs, and metal detector to prevent prohibited items from entering.

De-escalation:

Handle disputes or disruptive behavior professionally and calmly.

Artist Protection:

Provide security for touring talent and maintain the integrity of the stage area. Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols.

Emergency Response:

Assist with medical emergencies or evacuations if necessary. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older . Previous experience in event security, music venue, bar/nightclub security, military, or law enforcement preferred. Ability to stand for long periods in a high-volume, loud environment. Exceptional communication and customer service skills—we want "firm but friendly." Reliable transportation to Belleville, MI. A "team player" attitude and the ability to think on your feet.
