Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell products by recommending complementary items and informing customers about ongoing promotions or new arrivals Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring compliance with store standards Participate in inventory management tasks such as stocking, inventory counts, and product rotation Demonstrate effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist in store operations Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling you to serve a diverse customer base more effectively Experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous for growth opportunities Strong communication skills, friendly demeanor, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this energetic environment Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments will help you adapt quickly to our fast-paced setting
