In this role, you will engage with shoppers, assist them in finding products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. Your energy and communication skills will help drive sales, promote products, and uphold the store's standards of excellent customer service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point of sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity Support inventory management by stocking shelves and conducting stock counts regularly Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Promote products through engaging demonstrations and suggest complementary items to increase sales Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and inviting for shoppers at all times Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in grocery retail is beneficial Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts Ability to maintain professionalism with good phone etiquette and effective communication skills Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding service while honing your retail expertise.
