Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional customer experiences! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes shoppers, assists with product selections, and ensures smooth transactions at the register. Your proactive approach to upselling and product demos will help customers discover new items, while your excellent communication skills create a welcoming environment. Whether managing the cash register, stocking shelves, or guiding customers through their shopping journey, you'll play a vital role in creating a lively and positive store atmosphere. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales accurately and quickly Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional purchases through upselling techniques Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise and conducting stock counts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating store activities Support supervising staff during peak hours or when needed to ensure smooth store operations Experience Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience in product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management will set you apart Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences! Pay:
$13.75 - $16.00 per hour
