Role:

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and capable Part-Time Store Associate to support daily store operations. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and retain product knowledge across many departments. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys helping customers, and can handle a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

➢ Customer Service ✓ Greet customers promptly and assist them throughout the store ✓ Help customers select the correct products for their projects and needs ✓ Answer customer questions in person and over the phone ✓ Provide friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service ✓ Forward customer concerns or issues to management when needed ➢ Store Operations ✓ Operate the cash register and POS system accurately ✓ Issue receipts, refunds, and credits as needed ✓ Receive incoming merchandise and verify orders ✓ Stock shelves and maintain organized, well-labeled sales areas ✓ Maintain cleanliness and order of the sales floor, stock room, and end caps ✓ Assist with merchandise resets and signage updates ✓ Maintain awareness of store layout, product locations, and current sale items ✓ Communicate any store issues, inventory concerns, or safety matters to management ➢ Product Knowledge ✓ Learn and retain knowledge of: Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Lawn, garden, and outdoor products, Hardware and building materials ✓ Apply product knowledge when assisting customers and making sales

Required Qualifications:

Strong willingness and ability to learn and retain product knowledge Friendly, professional communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and able to show up consistently for scheduled shifts Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy retail environment Must be able to work weekends Basic computer skills required (operating point-of-sale systems and related tools) Ability to stand, move throughout the store, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience or knowledge of with plumbing, electrical, paint, hardware, lawn and garden, or building products Experience in retail experience or customer service This Job Is a
