Job Description
Green Genie Cannabis Co. is currently looking to grow our team of Cannabis Consultants. We are seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy helping both medical patients and recreational customers find the right cannabis products for their needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis, eager to learn, and committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience while educating customers on products, strains, and methods of consumption. Location 20046 W. Warren Ave Detroit, MI 48228 Job Types Full-time Part-time Pay Starting at $16/hour Pay based on experience Benefits Employee discount Weekly pay Growth opportunities within the company Schedule Day shift Night shift 8-hour shifts Weekend availability required Responsibilities Assist customers and patients with cannabis product selection and purchases Educate customers on flower, edibles, concentrates, vapes, pre-rolls, and accessories Recommend alternative strains and products when items are out of stock Stay up to date on new products, trends, and strain knowledge Deliver exceptional customer service in a professional and welcoming manner Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor Assist with packaging, labeling, stocking, and inventory tasks Upsell products based on customer needs and preferences Communicate customer feedback and operational concerns to management Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Continue learning about cannabis products, effects, terpenes, and consumption methods Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required Previous customer service experience preferred Cannabis industry experience preferred, but not required Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and strong attendance Must pass a background check Passion for cannabis and willingness to continually learn Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
