As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods will help create a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring they have a positive experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs. Educate customers about different strains, products, and consumption methods, ensuring they are well-informed. Upsell products by recommending complementary items and promoting special offers. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring all items are accurately labeled and priced. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability. Process transactions accurately while adhering to all legal regulations regarding cannabis sales. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, ideally within the grocery store or cannabis industry. Strong understanding of retail math and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Proven ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds. A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various strains and products is highly desirable.
