Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Budtender to join our team and assist customers in selecting the most suitable cannabis products. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within our dispensary.
Responsibilities:
Customer Consultation:
Guide customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences, needs, and budget while considering their reactions to different strains.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on new cannabis products, industry trends, and medicinal benefits through research and participation in trade shows.
Transaction Handling:
Process customer payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system with professionalism and accuracy.
Store Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dispensary at all times to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
Education:
Educate customers on the safe use of cannabis products and provide information on different consumption methods.
Packaging and Labeling:
Ensure accurate weighing, packaging, and labeling of cannabis products in compliance with regulations.
Age Verification:
Verify customers' identification documents to ensure legal age requirements are met for purchasing cannabis products.
Inventory Management:
Take inventory of cannabis products, monitor stock levels, and ensure adequate availability on the sales floor.
Continuous Learning:
Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes through training and professional development.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience working in the cannabis industry. Sound knowledge of cannabis strains, their effects, and medicinal benefits. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to handle cash transactions and familiarity with cash management procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of experience in cannabis retail or food/beverage industries. Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws related to cannabis sales and consumption. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Starting from $14.00 per hour
