The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, assist customers with product selection, and ensure compliance with all Michigan state and local alcohol sales regulations. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions Operate cash register and process transactions accurately Verify customer identification and comply with all alcohol sales laws Sell and redeem Michigan Lottery products Stock shelves, coolers, and displays Receive and organize inventory shipments Maintain store cleanliness and appearance Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items Assist with merchandising and promotional displays Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally Perform opening and closing duties as assigned Follow all store policies regarding cash handling, tobacco sales, lottery sales, and alcohol sales Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail, cashier, convenience store, liquor store, or customer service experience preferred Michigan Lottery sales experience preferred Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and Michigan liquor regulations is a plus Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Basic math and cash-handling skills required Benefits Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Opportunities for advancement Positive and team-oriented work environment Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Day Shift Evening Shift Weekend Availability Required Holiday Availability May Be Required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
