Part-Time Shop Assistant / Customer Service (Embroidery Shop)

Job Description:

We are a small, locally owned embroidery shop in Kalamazoo looking for a reliable and adaptable team member to join us part-time. This is a hands-on role in a close-knit environment where you'll support day-to-day operations, assist customers, and learn the embroidery process. This position is perfect for someone who is tech-savvy, enjoys working with people, and is open to learning new skills in a small business setting.

Responsibilities:

Answer phone calls and assist customer inquiries Provide friendly, professional customer service Assist with order processing and basic administrative tasks Use basic software tools (Adobe and QuickBooks experience is a plus) Learn and operate embroidery equipment (training provided) Support general shop operations as needed

Qualifications:

Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills; familiarity with Adobe or QuickBooks is a plus Willingness to learn embroidery and shop systems Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable Comfortable working in a small business environment

Schedule:
