Retail Sales Specialist

As a Retail Sales Associate at Ashley you will be expected to: Greet guests and build relationships with them through excellent conversation skills. Discover their needs by asking questions and selecting an array of options to fulfill those needs. Confidently close and finalize sales, utilizing trained closing techniques and attention to detail through all paperwork processes. Remain in contact with guests via call, text or email. Ensure a world class customer service experience for all guests. Work retail hours 9:30am - 6pm, some weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

Effective and professional communication; both written and verbal. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time while leading guests throughout the showroom. Create a custom room display for guests by moving small accent pieces and furniture items, up to 25 pounds. High School diploma or equivalent Basic math and computer skills, plus a willingness to learn multiple technical systems. Must be outgoing, friendly, easy to talk to and enjoy interacting with others. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize, organize and multitask.
