Gun Sales Associate 12163 N State Rd, Otisville, MI 48463 From $13.73 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $13.73 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Overview As a Sporting Goods Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their firearm needs, maintaining inventory, and promoting our products through engaging demonstrations. Your passion for shooting sports and knowledge of our merchandise will help drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with product inquiries. Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers through engaging product demos. Maintain the sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately while providing excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries. Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing and calculations as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Assist in inventory management by conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Requirements Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications. Familiarity with sporting goods or a passion for shooting sports is a plus. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Willingness to learn about new products and engage in ongoing training opportunities. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
