Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and dependable Bagger/Carry Out team member to join our retail store. This role is all about helping customers have a smooth shopping experience by efficiently bagging their purchases and assisting with carry-out needs. Responsibilities Bag groceries carefully to ensure items are protected and organized for customers. Assist customers with carrying their groceries to their vehicles or shopping carts. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags and supplies. Provide friendly assistance during product demos or when customers need help finding items. Upsell relevant products or store promotions to enhance the shopping experience. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and process payments efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers, answering questions about store products or services while practicing good phone etiquette. Skills Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn is key! Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and managing transactions accurately. Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays. Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially in serving a diverse customer base. Knowledge of grocery store operations and customer service standards enhances your effectiveness in this role. Friendly attitude, good phone etiquette, and the ability to upsell products contribute to a positive shopping environment.
