Job Description
Marshall Music in Kalamazoo is looking for a Retail Sales Clerk to help with the busy fall season with a possibility for continuing employment beyond the fall. You will work with walk-in customers and customers over the phone to help them select the best products and accessories for their needs. Roles and Responsibilities Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers and offering assistance Advise customers in selecting their purchases by providing information on instruments and their related accessories Advise customers on the best way to care for and maintain their instruments Assist customers in filling out the Marshall Music rental contract Answer telephones and assist customers over the phone Assist with inventory and setting up displays Help maintain store cleanliness Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must have superior customer service Familiarity with a variety of band or orchestra instruments required Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
