Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive parts needs through active listening and product knowledge. Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) terminals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools. Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and automotive diagnostics to help customers make informed decisions. Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing payments via POS systems. Maintain excellent communication with customers via phone etiquette, ensuring clear information about product availability and order status. Some delivery of parts to customers may be required Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures. Exceptional negotiation skills to upsell products and close sales confidently. Proficiency in inventory management software such as CMMS or similar systems. Experience with automotive repair shops or dealership environments is preferred. Excellent communication skills paired with phone etiquette for engaging customer interactions. Solid organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and record keeping efficiently. Familiarity with retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and transaction processing. Ability to perform retail sales duties confidently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
