In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently handling retail sales transactions and managing the cash register. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth shopping experience for every customer, whether they're fueling up, browsing our products, or seeking assistance. Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections or demos Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays to ensure product availability and visual appeal Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer experience Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise and conducting regular stock checks Demonstrate product features when needed, including performing product demos to educate customers on benefits and usage Experience Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
