Full Job Description Benefits:
401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discounts Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Cash Counter Associate for our Troy location. Ensure that all cash register tills are counted accurately at the beginning and closing of shifts. Perform all cash management procedures including balancing, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Research any and all discrepancies to determine the cause and to recommend a resolution. Inform management of any and all cash count issues. Process customer sales and other transactions using the cash register. Receive and process customer payment by cash, check, credit card, debit, gift certificates or EFT and tender change when necessary. Greet all customers and provide them prompt and courteous service and/or assistance. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company grooming and dress standards. Bag and package customer merchandise. Follow all established company Alcohol Sales guidelines, and all Federal, Local, County and State Alcohol Sales laws and ordinances. Assist in other areas of the Customer Service department and/or other departments as directed by management. Attend company training class on Responsible Alcohol Sales. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Previous customer service experience, required. Previous cash handling experience, required. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to properly use a 10 key adding machine. Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hour periods. Must be able to regularly bend, lift and/or move 25 pounds. Ability to multitask, maintain a positive attitude, problem solve.
