Job Description

Description Job ResponsibilitiesCompletes all regular work in addition to lead responsibilities.

Leads, motivates, and develops a team of employees within the department. Serves as a key resource and expert, providing guidance and support for more complex challenges.

Plans work schedules and assigns duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads. Responsible for scheduling off shift workloads.

Monitors and ensures product quality, workmanship, and method application meet department and company standards.

Organizes and delegates work tasks within the department. Provides clear instructions, training, and guidance to employees to maximize efficiency and performance.

Identifies, analyzes, and resolves production problems such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, and operational bottlenecks. Recommends and implements preventative and corrective measures.

Coordinates and prioritizes equipment repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions to production.

Ensures adherence to all safety regulations and promotes a culture of safety throughout the team. Conducts regular safety audits and provides training as needed.

Provides feedback and may participate in performance reviews and supports disciplinary proceedings when necessary.

Leads continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices within the department.

Perform other duties as assigned.
