Job Description

Company Overview:
Smith Farms North is a vertically integrated microbusiness located in the heart of Minnesota's Northwoods. We cultivate premium flower and produce handcrafted solventless products under the Trail brand family, including Trail Joints, Trail Chews, and Trail Vapors. Our co-located retail storefront, Trailhead Cannabis Company, offers a rustic, welcoming consumer experience. Together, we're building a new standard in Minnesota cannabis: rooted in craft, guided by compliance, and shaped by the natural beauty of our surroundings. We're not a corporate machine. We're a small team doing meaningful work - blending agriculture, manufacturing, and retail into something exceptional. If you're passionate about plants, focused on precision, and ready to grow in a fast-moving environment, this might be the place for you.
Position Overview:
The Budtender is responsible for guiding guests through their in-store experience - offering product education, transaction support, and a warm, compliant, and respectful atmosphere. This role is focused on service, pace, and reliability. It's not a performance - it's professionalism, backed by genuine curiosity and care. We are seeking Part-Time Budtenders to fulfill staffing needs throughout the peak season.

Take pride in consistency, even on slower days Like helping people navigate new experiences with calm, clear guidance Show up on time, ready to work, every time Respect the rules - not just because they're rules, but because they protect the industry and our guests Pathways for Growth Budtenders may grow into Keyholder, Retail Supervisor, or Inventory Assistant roles based on performance, reliability, and initiative. Cannabis experience starts here - if you bring the professionalism, we'll train the rest.
