Position Overview We are seeking reliable, emotionally aware, and professional individuals to join our founding team. This role goes beyond basic retail. It requires strong interpersonal awareness, the ability to remain calm and positive under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. You will be expected to carry yourself with professionalism, take ownership of your role, and contribute to a consistent customer experience every shift. Hiring and Opening Timeline High Society Recreational Cannabis Dispensary is projected to soft open on July 2, 2026, with a grand opening planned for July 8, 2026. Because we are building our founding team carefully, the hiring process will take place in multiple stages over the coming weeks. The process is expected to follow the timeline below: Applications and phone screenings will begin immediately Selected candidates will be invited to in-person interviews throughout June Final candidates will enter a paid training and evaluation period prior to opening Active employment and scheduling will begin closer to launch Our goal is to build a professional, reliable, and customer-focused team from the start. Responsibilities Verify customer identification and ensure full compliance with all regulations Process transactions accurately using POS systems Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable retail environment Assist customers in a warm, professional, and informative manner Follow all inventory handling and security procedures Complete daily task checklists (opening, closing, cleaning, inventory) Contribute to a positive, consistent, and team-oriented work environment Requirements Must be 21+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of personal awareness and emotional consistency Professional presentation and attention to personal hygiene Reliable transportation and strong attendance habits Ability to follow strict compliance procedures without exception Coachable, accountable, and detail-oriented Compensation $18-$20/hour starting pay Performance-based increases up to $22/hour Full-time schedule (~30-35 hours/week) Part-time schedule (~12-14 hours/week) Growth opportunities as the company expands
