In this role, you will be the frontline representative of our store, providing exceptional customer service while managing sales transactions, merchandising, and stock organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and detail-oriented, contributing to a welcoming shopping environment and ensuring smooth store operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail skills and grow within a vibrant retail setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, demonstrations, and selections to enhance their shopping experience. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges while accurately handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and ensure products are well-stocked and organized. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and conducting regular inventory counts. Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers. Support supervising staff by overseeing daily store operations during shifts when needed. Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling, security procedures, and health regulations. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with customers professionally. Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer trust. Basic merchandising skills along with the ability to stock shelves efficiently. Proven organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
