2 About Us Northern Sky Cannabis is a locally owned dispensary focused on providing a safe, compliant, and welcoming retail experience. We take pride in educating our customers and offering high-quality cannabis products to our community. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Budtenders to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining compliance with Minnesota cannabis regulations, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience. Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner.
- Educate customers on cannabis products (flower, edibles, concentrates, accessories).
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems (Dutchie/Flowhub).
- Verify customer identification and ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure sales floor.
- Follow inventory control procedures and assist with restocking.
- Adhere strictly to Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) regulations and company SOPs.
- Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate drawer counts.
- Work collaboratively with team members. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting (state required).
- High school diploma or equivalent. Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Willingness to learn cannabis products and compliance standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Preferred Qualifications.
- Previous cannabis dispensary experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Dutchie or Flowhub.
- Knowledge of Minnesota cannabis laws and compliance. Compensation & Benefits
