Job Description

JOB STATUS
Part-Time (16 hours per week; Fridays and two (2) Saturdays per month required)

As a Store Associate , you'll play a key role in keeping the thrift store running smoothly, creating a welcoming shopping experience, and connecting community members with valuable resources and support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Keep the
Store Running Smoothly:
Process sales, handle payments, follow procedures, and support donation intake by sorting, pricing, and preparing items. Create an
Inviting Shopping Experience:
Maintain a clean, organized store and assist with displays.
Engage Customers & Community:
Provide friendly service, assist with purchases and donations, and share resource information.
Support Volunteers & Teamwork:
Work with volunteers by guiding tasks and assisting with onboarding and training.
Handle Donations & Store Operations:
Receive donations, provide receipts, and ensure items are sorted and displayed properly.
Maintain Records & Financial Accuracy:
Track sales, complete deposits, and keep records accurate and up to date.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
High school diploma or
GED Preferred:
Experience in a retail or thrift store environment, including knowledge of store operations and customer service.
