Job Description

Objective The Budtender role is focused on delivering personalized, welcoming, and elevated experiences for every guest. This position requires a strong understanding of cannabis, methods of consumption, accessories, and responsible use. We're looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in creating a comfortable, informative, and positive environment. As a key part of our team, you represent our brand both inside and outside the store and contribute to a culture built on respect, collaboration, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Sales & Guest Experience Participate in store promotions and team sales goals in a supportive, team-driven environment Focus on building genuine connections with customers and guiding them to the right products for their needs Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average basket size and units per transaction Follow our "Right Selling Steps" to create a thoughtful and personalized shopping experience Customer Experience Deliver exceptional, friendly, and patient customer service aligned with our brand standards Educate customers on products in a clear, approachable, and helpful way Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits Resolve customer concerns with empathy and a solution-oriented mindset Ensure every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and valued Team & Culture Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment Support teammates and collaborate to create a smooth daily operation Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and strong communication Embrace diversity and help foster a space where both customers and staff feel safe and respected Product Knowledge Continuously learn and stay up to date on cannabis products and trends Participate in ongoing product training and development opportunities Help maintain visually appealing and organized product displays Operations Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere Accurately process transactions and handle cash responsibly Follow all store procedures and operational guidelines Assist with opening and closing duties as needed Support onboarding and training of new team members Compliance Follow all state and company compliance regulations Verify valid government-issued identification Refuse service when appropriate (e.g., intoxicated guests) Participate in inventory counts and audits Marketing & Community Support in-store events and community engagement efforts Encourage customer feedback and online reviews Help grow our customer base by creating positive, memorable experiences
