Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment. Engage with customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide personalized recommendations.
Product Expertise:
Stay up-to-date on all cannabis products offered, including flower, edibles, tinctures, concentrates, and accessories. Educate customers on product types, effects, methods of consumption, and safe usage practices.
Sales Support:
Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, providing guidance on effects and dosages. Ensure all sales are within Minnesota's legal purchasing limits.
Compliance:
Adhere strictly to Minnesota's cannabis regulations, including ID verification, age restrictions, purchase limits, and any other compliance requirements. Remain informed about changes to state regulations and store policies.
POS Operation & Cash Handling:
Process transactions accurately using the POS system, manage cash and card payments, and follow all store procedures for secure transactions.
Inventory Assistance:
Support inventory management by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring accurate product counts as needed.
Store Maintenance:
Ensure the dispensary is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Follow all sanitation protocols and maintain a safe shopping environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Age:
Must be at least 21 years old, per Minnesota state law.
Cannabis Knowledge:
Previous experience in the cannabis industry or a strong interest in learning about cannabis products and trends is preferred.
Customer Service Experience:
1+ years in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role is preferred.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain products clearly to a diverse range of customers.
Compliance-Focused:
Understanding of Minnesota cannabis regulations (or willingness to learn) and a commitment to following all legal requirements.
Dependability:
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
