Securtity Guard PT overnights Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Residence Saint Paul, MN Job Details Part-time 23 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Provide building All Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background and drug test. 4 shifts per 2 week payperiod. and shift coverage for sick calls and vacations. every other weekend. Provide building security. Observe all persons entering and exiting the building, assuring all sign in and out. Report suspicious or inappropriate activity to supervisor or Mother Superior immediately. View camera monitor to identify visitors/callers via camera monitor and/or telephone before allowing them to enter loading dock or front doors. Make scheduled rounds to lock doors and monitor building/grounds using tracking system. Respond to severe weather and other emergencies and building evacuations, following proper procedures. Telephone emergency management agencies as needed. Efficiently implement Excel Energy generator procedure as directed. Track home vehicles and keys, assuring vehicles are signed in and out. Provide a welcoming reception to all visitors and callers in compliance with recognized standards, Home policies and in the spirit of Jeanne Jugan. Courteously and accurately answer, direct and transfer telephone calls. Greet all visitors and provide directions or instructions as required. Receive vendors and deliveries, contacting the appropriate party. Accurately operate paging and public address systems. Accurately maintain daily tracking system and communicate all necessary information to other staff, including those who provide relief for breaks. Assist Residents, Sisters and employees as requested. Report pertinent information at end of shift. Maintain a clean and neat reception area. Perform a variety of general clerical duties as assigned. Receive and accurately record donations; turn in donation envelopes at the end of each shift. Provide assistance to administration and other departments as directed. Minimum Education and Experience High School diploma/GED and one year or more similar work experience. Basic computer skills helpful.
