Parts Counter Associate

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating the correct parts or accessories for their vehicles with enthusiasm and professionalism Utilize inventory management systems and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) to track stock levels, process orders, and fulfill customer requests efficiently Provide detailed product information, including compatibility, installation procedures, and maintenance tips to ensure customer satisfaction Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts Maintain organized stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards Requirements Prior experience in ATV/UTV, lawn & garden or dealership parts departments is highly preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse customers Proficiency with inventory control systems, POS software, and retail math for accurate transactions and stock management Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and record keeping Ability to handle cash transactions confidently while maintaining phone etiquette and professional demeanor at all times Proven negotiation skills to assist customers effectively while meeting sales goals Dealership experience or retail sales background is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us as a Parts Counter Associate where your energy fuels our success!
