Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while managing transactions and assisting with orders. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle various tasks will contribute to a positive experience in our service environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. Handle cash and perform accurate cash handling procedures. Write up incoming orders accurately. Tag incoming orders. Maintain a clean and organized counter area. Assemble orders accurately and efficiently. Utilize basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math applications. Requirements Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Supervising experience is desirable for potential leadership opportunities. A passion for providing excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
