Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries, product demos, and recommendations to boost sales and customer satisfaction Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store layout is attractive and easy to navigate through effective merchandising and stocking practices Conduct upselling techniques by suggesting additional products or promotions to enhance customer purchases Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, product replenishment, and organizing back-stock areas Support in-store promotional activities and product demos to educate customers about new or featured items Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or trainees Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and patience when addressing questions or concerns Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as making change, totaling sales, and inventory counts Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that attract shoppers Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional remote communication Experience in upselling products to increase sales revenue and promote store promotions This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise in a fast-paced environment.
