Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Parts Counter Associate, where your enthusiasm and expertise will drive exceptional customer service and streamline our automotive parts operations. In this vital role, you will serve as the key point of contact for customers seeking parts and accessories, ensuring they receive accurate, timely assistance. Your proactive approach will support vehicle maintenance and repair processes, helping customers get back on the road faster. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive diagnostics, inventory management, and retail sales within a fast-paced environment that values energy, organization, and communication. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying the correct parts or accessories for their vehicles Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts displays to ensure availability and accessibility Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash and credit payments securely Collaborate with the service team to fulfill orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery of parts Maintain organized records of inventory levels using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or other software tools Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person, providing clear information about products, pricing, and promotions Support dealership or retail marketing efforts by promoting special offers and new product lines to enhance sales opportunities Qualifications Prior experience in automotive repair, dealership settings, or retail sales is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order fulfillment Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive service standards Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control practices, and cash handling procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and phone etiquette Demonstrated ability to negotiate with customers and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty Join us as a Parts Counter Associate where your energy fuels our success!
